about us

about us

Veteran Barbers for Veteran’s is a 501c3 non-profit in
Missouri. We are a brotherhood of veteran barber’s that have created a platform for veterans to gain barber education and meaningful employment to better their lives after service. We not only want to help our veteran community but we also want to help the community, in which we live, by participating in local charity events.

We have started a scholarship fund to grant to veteran’s that are not eligible for GI bill or Voc rehab to attend barber school. We want to follow our motto “No brother left behind.” The scholarships will be awarded to veteran’s to attend Headlines Barber Academy in Kansas City, KS. Headlines Barber Academy also accepts GI bill and Voc rehab for the veterans that are eligible for those benefits.

We will be utilizing local barber academy’s and a mobile barber trailer to provide free hair cuts and shaves to veterans, law enforcement and firefighters across the United States.

I am a California native that moved here to the mid-west in my early years. I graduated high school early to join the Marine Corp in 2003, in which, I spent four years and did two combat tours with 1st Battalion 5th Marines, I was honorably discharged in 2007. After I left the Marine Corp I dabbled in a few careers, until 2013 when I started working for the VFW, as a service officer, helping veterans get their benefits. In 2017 I started my journey in my passion for Barbering and enrolled at Headlines Barber Academy in KCK the rest has yet to be written.
