about us

about us

Veteran Barbers for Veteran’s is a 501c3 non-profit in
Missouri. We are a brotherhood of veteran barbers that have created a platform for veterans to gain barber education and meaningful employment to better their lives after service. We not only want to help our veteran community, but we also want to help the community in which we live, by participating in local charity events.

We have started a scholarship fund to grant to veterans that are not eligible for GI bill or Voc rehab to attend barber school. We want to follow our motto “No brother left behind.”

We utilize local establishments and events, in addition to our mobile barbering facility to provide free hair cuts and shaves to veterans, law enforcement and firefighters in Kansas and Missouri, with intentions to expand across the United States.

Become our Sponsor!

The pursuit of our mission is reliant on monetary contributions from our sponsors, in addition to the gift of time and expertise of volunteer barbers and cosmetologists at events.

public outreach

Our volunteer activities are not limited to the service of our brothers in arms among the Veteran community.  We strongly believe that we rise by lifting others.  We are available to share our skills at events serving the community at large.

I am a California native that moved here to the mid-west in my early years. I graduated high school early to join the Marine Corp in 2003, in which, I spent four years and did two combat tours with 1st Battalion 5th Marines, I was honorably discharged in 2007. After I left the Marine Corp I dabbled in a few careers, until 2013 when I started working for the VFW, as a service officer, helping veterans get their benefits. In 2017 I started my journey in my passion for Barbering and enrolled at Headlines Barber Academy in KCK the rest has yet to be written.
